I am a clinical social worker, AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, researcher, trainer, and consultant. My work sits at the intersection of relationships, sexuality, trauma, social justice, and personal and professional sustainability.

For over 15 years, I have worked across medical, community, and academic settings, supporting individuals and families as they navigate life transitions, relational challenges, identity development, and the impacts of interpersonal violence. I currently divide my time between the Young Parents Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and my private practice, where I work with individuals and couples around intimacy, sexuality, and trauma.

Beyond direct clinical work, I engage in research examining how work in the domestic and sexual violence fields shapes providers’ personal and relational lives. My publication in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence grew out of years of conversations about the often-unspoken impacts of this work and how we build sustainable careers in high-impact roles. I am currently developing and implementing interventions to help reduce these impacts.

Training and consultation are central to my work. I design and facilitate workshops for healthcare providers, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams on trauma-informed care, vicarious trauma, empowerment-focused practice, sexual health, and supporting young parents. My approach is collaborative and reflective, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we honor autonomy, dignity, and real-world complexity.

Across all of my work, I center people as the experts in their own lives and advocate for justice and equity.
